Elizabeth’s strategic skills have provided Del Norte Neighborhood Corporation with the needed elements to develop and implement a five-year marketing plan. She provided an innovative facilitation session where members participated in several interactive exercises to assist in plan creation, resulting in a detailed strategic map for growth.
I met Elizabeth Suarez a number of years ago, when I was employed by Entravision Communications Colorado (Spanish language television and radio network) and Elizabeth was heading up a children’s immunization media outreach campaign.
Through that experience, and the one that followed very recently, when Elizabeth worked on inclusiveness training with the board of the Colorado Consumer Health Initiative, I found her to be a consummate professional.
Elizabeth makes every member of her work group feel valued and important. She embodies the ideals of inclusiveness in the thoughtful way that she engages a group.
In the CCHI instance, Elizabeth spent considerable time learning about the organization, its strengths and its challenges. She proved her listening skills by incorporating the knowledge she had gathered in her board training, giving voice to all members of the organization.
She kept the inclusiveness project on task and on timeline, delivering a statement that represents the organization’s commitment to including the ideas and values of all members.
Elizabeth Suarez brings extensive professional knowledge to organizational training, and more importantly, she brings tremendous passion and heart. Thank you!
I have had the privilege and benefit of working with Elizabeth as she brings her multiple and diverse conflict resolution skills to the benefit of parties caught in conflict. She is culturally sensitive, forthright, and quick to grasp the situation, making the facilitation or mediation experience a beneficial one for everyone involved.
Elizabeth Suarez assisted us recently during our bicultural, bilingual divorce. She was, from beginning to end of the process, extremely professional and capable.
Elizabeth is a particularly talented and useful mediator because she has knowledge, understanding and respect for different cultures and is able to make both parties feel validated while maintaining an impartial stance.
Elizabeth provided a service to us which in the end saved us both time and money. More importantly however, she left both parties feeling like they had come away with a better understanding of the other’s point-of-view, invaluable when, out of necessity, a difficult relationship must continue for the good of others (children).
I plan to ask her to help us again if the need arises.

Testimonial at beginning of Engagement:
I sought out Elizabeth’s assistance when I was at my 3rd company in 3 years. I found myself repeatedly in the wrong job in the wrong company and not sure how I got there or what to do about it.
With Elizabeth’s help I am learning how to make things work for me where I am and also planning what my future will hold.
Elizabeth is helping me figure out how to determine what company, job, people and environment is the right fit for me and also how to get that information during the interview process and not when it is too late!
I would recommend Elizabeth’s coaching program to anyone who finds themselves struggling with their current job and ESPECIALLY if you are in the process of looking for a new job!
Testimonial 6 Months After Coaching Began:
Thank you again for yesterday. I was thinking that not knowing how long I will have a job and needing to find another is a lot less scary and stressful having you coach me along. I think at times I feel like a deer in headlights and just feel so overwhelmed that I don’t know what to do next. So thank you keeping me in line.
I initially retained Elizabeth to help me develop strategies to negotiate with my boss, but with her help was able to take a bigger-picture look at my employment situation. Elizabeth is a quick study, smart, funny, and savvy about employment situations—a true pleasure to work with. Since our initial consultation I have hired her on an ad hoc, as-needed basis, and I particularly appreciate her flexibility in this regard. I highly recommend her coaching services!
Elizabeth helped me through a situation that I recently faced. I’m a public speaker and agreed to speak to a group that I’d spoken at several times last year. The agreement was that I’d present a “follow-up” 90-minute seminar, based on the prior seminars and that we’d do them in the same way. For the prior seminars, the organization charged $35 for attendees. Imagine my surprise when I received a copy of their promotion of the new seminar and the cost was just $5! When I give this seminar myself, I charge $75 so I felt that they were not only devaluing both me and my work, they also were not meeting their side of the agreement. As I provide seminars for this group on a complimentary basis, I felt that it put me in a awkward position in expressing my concerns. My first reaction to the situation was to call them and cancel and my next reaction was to not say anything, do the seminar, then never offer again. Fortunately, I worked with Elizabeth prior to any communications with the organization. She told me that the best course of action was to communicate directly with the CEO, rather than the staff, and to simply say that as this was not what we agreed to, I would cancel the seminar. Elizabeth counseled me not to express anger, not to negotiate, not to do anything but stand firm – and it worked! The organization was very apologetic. We did cancel the first seminar, but the organization then rescheduled the seminar following our original agreement. The seminar was a success and we’ve already talked about more seminars. Elizabeth helped me to diffuse a potentially difficult situation in an easy, non-confrontational manner – and in the end, my relationship with the organization is even stronger. I highly recommend Elizabeth to all my business associates.
Your presentation was very, very useful to me and it gave me a lot to think about regarding what’s really happening during a conflict…Thanks so much for such a practical, memorable presentation.
Elizabeth Suarez is an incredible public speaker! I have had the pleasure of hearing Elizabeth speak at several different events, workshops, and meetings and I always find her to be very a dynamic, engaging, emotive, passionate, and thought provoking speaker. Her keynote remarks at Mi Casa Resource Center’s 2010 Be Anything Luncheon were no exception. I would highly recommend Elizabeth Suarez as a keynote speaker or professional trainer and look forward to working with her again in the near future.
I would like to extend my gratitude to Elizabeth Suarez for her support on the development and execution of the DishNOW! DishYA! Training seminar. With DishNow! DishYA! customers with economical hardship can access our satellite paid-TV services through a pre-paid card. This is an innovative concept in the industry and requires a great deal of customer education and segmentation. When Elizabeth joined us last year, we had a training program we wanted to use to attract entrepreneurs as well as potential customers, but we lack of someone who could help us convey the message in an educational and ‘easy- to-understand’ way yet offering a sense of business empowerment to a group of prospects with low educational attainments and financial stability. Elizabeth not only helped us to improve our seminar scripts, she also was our spokesperson for our entrepreneur seminars in Spanish, and for a video we later on produced to have this training available for prospect U.S. Hispanic entrepreneurs. We have had an enthusiastic reaction from the attendees to these seminars. Elizabeth, we want to thank you for your professionalism and the personal interest you have demonstrated to us. We expect we’ll have a fruitful relationship for many years to come.
Elizabeth Suarez was introduced to me when I was in need of a speaker for our quarterly National Retail Federation, Women’s Caucus, Professional Development Call. Elizabeth generously created time in her schedule to accommodate our call. The purpose of our call is to provide education to a vast audience of female business professionals who specialize in Loss Prevention. This is a primarily male dominated industry. Leadership Skills such as the ability to “Manage Conflict” are critical to women’s success in Loss Prevention. Elizabeth took the time to learn about the audience. She customized her presentation to meet our needs and timeframe. Teaching over the phone can be a challenge for most Instructors. Elizabeth’s pace, real life examples, and her ability to state, review and restate key points made the information stick. She has an incredible amount of wisdom to share and delivers in a practical and relatable way.
“Fantastic workshop! Elizabeth is very knowledgeable, presented the information well and allowed group to discuss. Role-plays were helpful too. Elizabeth got us thinking by asking us great questions.”
“Elizabeth was fantastic! Her energy, intellect, practical experience/personal and professional were obvious and helpful. She kept us engaged and on task. We were lucky to have her.”
“One of the best so far. Elizabeth was very high energy.”
“An incredible effective workshop.”
“I was engaged the entire time – thanks for accommodating your presentation to our needs.”
“This is a great session that is helpful in business and personal situations.”
“Fantastic workshop! Elizabeth is very knowledgeable, presented the information well.”
Elizabeth is clearly an amazing, well-rounded person and we were lucky to have her present (to the Circle of Latina Leadership) and share with us her knowledge and experiences around conflict, community and the work place in general. It is an interesting topic, to which she made informational, fun, applicable and factual.
On behalf of the NAP Day Committee of the Colorado Activity Professionals’ Association (CAPA), I want to express our appreciation for your participation in our Denver Workshop “Caring By Design”. You certainly helped to make our Workshop successful.
On a scale of 1-5 with 5 being excellent your session was rated 5 for topic and 5 as a speaker. The comments made by those attending were very positive. Some of the comments, “fantastic, awesome, effective, best speaker of my decade, please have her back, great ideas and just what I needed both for home and professionally.”
Thank you again for being part of our 2010 NAP Day Workshop.
Elizabeth facilitated a conflict management training with my staff and she did an exceptional job at helping my staff realize their own actions and behaviors, which is not easy. No one ever wants to face their own challenges. As a result my staff is working as a team and individually to improve how they interact and communicate.
Need a reality check? Need focus? Need to stay on task? I would strongly recommend hiring Elizabeth Suarez. Elizabeth is an incredibly competent strategic facilitator. I have worked with her in a various capacities over the past five years and have always found her to be honest, hard-working, respectful and dependable. She has recently helped our health care team create, stay focused on and achieve strategic goals. Her experience in multiple settings allows her the confidence and competence to work with our diverse workforce. I sincerely appreciate the help and expertise that she has provided us.
To say we participated in a cultural workshop is an understatement — we participated in a cultural awakening!
Thank you again for a stellar job of facilitating the Adams County Listening Session! Your skill and experience made the whole experience a delight!
I have been able to witness and see Elizabeth’s work first-hand as a client. She has the amazing gift of getting everyone to participate, rally the troops and bring consensus. She connects with the audience, boosts creative thinking, and extracts the best out of each participant. I attribute this to her strategic thinking, yet hands- on interactive approach. I would highly recommend her. Veronica Figoli Fleischer, Business Owner Integrate Business “Elizabeth is a facilitator that brings a unique perspective to the table. She has an ability to ask you to look at the issues from a different point of view than what you initially had on your mind. This results in an outcome that may be appreciated by all those participating in the facilitation as well as within the organization.
The Denver Foundation has hired Elizabeth Suarez on a number of occasions. The most recent was to facilitate a community outreach meeting and discussion with residents of Douglas County in Colorado. She did an excellent job of helping us bring the right people into the room, design a format for the session that would meet our needs, and conduct a discussion that would leave us with better relationships after the meeting than before. She offers a sound sense of how to conduct a community involvement process and understands how to include and honor the voices of dramatically diverse constituents. In addition, her preparation and follow-up are those of a consummate professional.
